A seemingly gentle start, as advocated by many modern course architects, but for the hooker and puller there is out of bounds on the left (for right handers that is) and for slicers and blockers there are trees on the right. As the green is tucked close to the out of bounds, it would be sensible to play the second shot to the centre of the green, unless the player has “warmed up” sufficiently prior to teeing off.
