Hole 16
Even on the best of days, this is the kind of hole at which, standing on the tee, you would be happy to say: “I'll take a five and walk down to the 17th”. There is trouble left and right, the fairway drops away the nearer you get to the green. The green itself is set on a little plateau. It runs as tightly as it could be to the out of bounds on the left. This tough hole requires a well positioned tee shot to enable the longer hitter a chance of hitting the green in two, if the green is missed to the right a very tricky up and down awaits.
